Have you seen my little Henmeister??

I was looking over some past photos of Mister H and came across these from last summer. Which really wasn't that terribly long ago.... but alas... Where has my dear sweet baby boy gone? I look at him now and find it difficult to come to grips with the fact that the little toddler in these pictures has all but disappeared now. He really is evolving into a little boy... and although it warms my heart to watch him grow and learn - it also makes me a bit weepy.

Oh, alright - it makes me Sad As Hell!

He's starting summer camp next week - 2 mornings a week.

Up Close...

So I've got a really fun clip of H-Man and the sea lions from our most recent trip to the zoo - but for whatever reason - I can't get the damn thing to load. Soooo until I figure it out... here are a few stills from that clip. It was awesome how interactive these Sea Lions were... I think they would have swam by the viewing area all day if we had stuck around. Of course, that's exactly what the H-Man wanted to do. Other animals?? Why bother? This is too cool. He had such a fabulous time watching these guys that we blew a good portion of the morning with them and in the end didn't actually make it around to see many of the other animals. Thankfully the zoo is so close that we can go whenever we want :)

A Heavy Load...

An excerpt from a conversation I had with H-Man over the weekend.
All while I was trying to pick up the house.

Henry: "Walk."
Me: "MmmHmm."

10 Minutes Later --
Henry: "Walk."
Me: "Yuhuh. Later Son."

5 Minutes Later --
Henry: "Walk!"
Me: "Yep, very soon."

2 Minutes Later --
Henry: "Waaaaaaaaaaaaalk."
(followed by some very vigorous finger pointing out the window)
Me: "Yes, Hen. In a bit. Take it easy."

30 Seconds Later --
Henry: "Walk! Walk! Walk!"
Me: Simply giving him "The Look".
Henry: "Walk. Peeeaaasse."
(accompanied by a Huge Cheesy Grin)
Me: "Alright already. We'll go for a walk."

And wouldn'tcha know it... this was the scene 15 minutes later.
