Big O Jet Air Liner...

Well since it looks like summer may have finally reared it's head here in Pittsburgh Me & The Boyz have spending oodles of time outside enjoying the warmth. We play, bird watch, roll down the hill in the backyard, slide, hunt for bugs - you name it, we try to do it. One thing that H-Man has really been showing a huge interest in lately is planes. He often scans the skies in search of plane vapour trails... crying out "Airmay, Airmay" whenever he spots one. We've even been fairly lucky to have had several small ones overhead at lower altitudes - which he just loves! So this weekend we decided to drive him over to the Pittsburgh Airport... so he could see some of the big boys up close. OMG!! When he saw the very first one fly right above us I thought he was going to come out of his seat... What a thrill for him! I wish I could have gotten a photo showing the sheer wonder, joy and delight he experienced watching those huge birds. What a truly terrific way to spend the day.

I cannot begin to express how lucky I feel in getting to say that! It's simply divine to see them together interacting and responding to each other. My darling Henry is so full of love and wonder towards his little brother and has completely embraced his new role as Big Brother. He has really been enjoying having a baby around and is so very gentle and sweet with little Flynn... it's nearly heart breaking. I'm so looking forward to all the love these little men will share with one another... This Mom gig is just too cool!

Well today marks The Day... The Original Birthday.
The Day our latest addition was suppose to join our little family.

Yeah, About that.

Good thing we were already at the hospital after my second amnio, because it really set things in motion. Literally. I went into premature labor (something you just don't want with a previa) and had to undergo an emergency c-section right then and there.

So as it turns out... The Big Day actually happened nearly 4 weeks ago... Which is really hard to believe now. We both spent a week in the hospital... NICU and all... I'm so happy all of that is behind us!

Here's where the Fun begins...

First off it's important to say that I'm a huge book lover. I love the feel and weight of a book in my hand, I love the print and texture of the paper and most of all I love to turn the page.

And even with all that said - my Kindle is just too hip for words ;)
Not only does it have the look and feel of a Ginormous iPod... I think it's going to do for books what the iPod did for music. Pure Awesomeness.

Of course I'll still be reading the printed page... but I can see this bad boy gaining some serious ground holding my reading library. I love the idea of regaining some major amounts of bookshelf storage. Plus, it completely saved my bacon while I was in the hospital for a week with Flynn... that alone is plug enough.

Reading Revolutionized....

Before the Cut...

Bubbles are always a terrific way to kill some time.

Not only does lil' H love them... so do the dogs.

Everyone's happy and has a blast.

Of course... during all the fun, the P & I had started

to wonder where H-Man was hiding the rat that had

taken up residence in his hair. What. A. Mess.

So here are just a few shots of our hippy man before

he got his little fanny hauled off for a bath...

which was promptly followed by a hair cut.

Oh Yeah... our Boy looks amazingly better now!!
