Calm in the Storm...

Thankfully our weather has finally calmed down a bit. We had been so lucky to have been enjoying several weeks of outrageously gorgeous temps and then BOOM! Totally got blindsided by a vicious storm. The winds were off the charts crazy, creating some wild looking waves on the lake that were threatening to separate the swim platform from the dock. A sight I hope we don't get to see too often. Of course, on one of the nights that it poured down rain for 10 hours straight, one of the breakers blew and now something appears to have a short. So all the main lights in the kitchen have been out for going on day # 2... which is, as you can imagine, wonderfully handy! ha! Who knows what's going on there... poor P's not had any luck figuring it out. Not even replacing the breaker has helped :(

At least Henry's room is finally finished! New carpet, new paint, new fixtures, new electrical... Whew! The only thing left is to wait for his new bunkbed to be delivered and we'll/he'll be all set :) Now onto Flynn's room... 2nd coat of primer goes up tomorrow!
