The H and The P have a ritual on the weekends... they make coffee together. Very first thing - Loooong before anyone gets their breakfast.
H absolutely loves the entire process. From pouring the beans into the grinder and watching them get completely pulverized. To boiling the water, loading the French Press and pushing down the plunger.
They have been known to make a pretty significant mess, at times... but it's totally worth it, in the end. They have such a fabulous time together and Thankfully manage to take a brief moment to steep some tea for me ;)
I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend. Our weather has taken on a seriously Cold note the past few days. And we've been crazy busy with our preparations for Christmas!! We're baking, decorating, making crafts and even have TWO trees up!! I know, I know! One is our beloved little 2 foot tree. This sweet tiny tree has helped us celebrate 17 glorious holidays together and will continue to do so, only now, posing as our advent calender tree. The second is a new addition... this year we finally decided to bite the bullet and up size to a 10 foot tree!! I was a little nervous about it. Thinking that it might be so much bigger by comparison that it would completely overwhelm our senses... but actually, it's quite lovely :) Energy levels were incredibly ramped up today as H-Man was wild with excitement to hang the ornaments... while Flynn's wild excitement had more to do with trying to tear them down.
